Morning Session: The Job Market & Hiring Trends

Recent changes in the market have greatly impacted hiring trends and recruiting approaches.  We will examine the latest employment trends, the state of the job market, and how organizations are adapting their hiring strategies.

Afternoon Session: The Basics of Design for Non-Designers 

Hosted by Sam Whitney, Art Director for the NY Times Opinion Section

Career service professionals frequently create resources and plan events that involve a lot of design and content creation.  This session will review and discuss the fundamentals of content creation and visual design, with practical insights on strategies to effectively communicate through graphics.  Be part of this hands-on workshop and leave with tools you can apply immediately.
