NCDA offers a 30% discount on membership, conference registration fees, and books (including training manuals) for people from countries classified lower than High Income by the World Bank. Alternate Pathway
Periodically, NCDA’s Credentialing Commission will partner with international organizations whose training programs meet the specific competencies for one or more NCDA Credentials. They are offered Alternate Pathways (AP) Agreements which entitle their trainees to apply for one of the NCDA Credentials. International Partners
NCDA has established an Alternate Pathways process whereby a training program based on the Facilitating Career Development (FCD)Training, or a language specific training that meets FCD competencies may be approved for the NCDA CCSP Credential. This process allows countries to expand their training and their completers to be recognized with an NCDA credential.
The following organizations have been approved for Alternate Pathways agreements:
Psychological Assessment Corporation (PAC): Provides the Facilitating Career Development Training and CCSP Credentialing in China and Eastern Asia. This alternate pathway agreement enables colleagues in the region to access NCDA's training in their native language. Anyone is interested with Chinese version FCD training and CCSP Credentialing, can reach the training website at www.chinancda.org.
Mindler: This career counseling and guidance company in India provides training that was approved by the NCDA Credentialing Commission as an alternate pathway to the NCDA CCSP Credential. Whoever is interested in their curriculum, please visit www.mindler.com.
Republic Polytechnic: This postsecondary education institution and statutory board, under the purview of the Singapore Ministry of Education, has been awarded an alternate pathways agreement. Those completing this training are eligible for the NCDA CCSP Credential. For more information, visit Specialist Diploma in Career Counselling (rp.edu.sg).
International Ambassadors & Guests at the NCDA Conference
International guests are welcome at NCDA's annual Global Career Development Conference. Each summer, hundreds of international guests attend the conference. NCDA asks members to act as ambassadors to guests, especially first-time attendees. The conference registration form includes a space to request an ambassador or be one.

The CERIC Survey of Career Service Professionals was completed by a total of 1,033 career professionals across Canada in October 2024. The findings present a critical snapshot of the current state of the career development field, highlighting the most pressing issues facing career professionals, their priorities for professional development and evolving client needs. Marcela Mesa Guerrero, Co-Chair of the NCDA Global Career Connections committee, spoke with Univision Network News. The interview for ‘Noticias Univision 24/7’ focused on job scams targeting college graduates and included tips to avoid being a victim. The television news reached out to NCDA to request someone for a live interview on May 8, 2024.

International Student Services Committee
The NCDA International Student Services Committee (ISSC) aims to increase the understanding of career development experiences and the needs of international students. The committee provides resources and best practice examples to the NCDA members and career development professionals who work with international students in the U.S. Involving a diverse team of dedicated career services practitioners who work with international students on a daily basis, this group advocates for the enhancement of culturally competent career development services, programs and resources that help international students create meaningful career paths in the US and beyond.

“2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services - Education Services Exhibition”
NCDA and People Achievement Consulting (PAC) have collaborated to make outstanding contributions in China.
The 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (i.e.CIFTIS) was successfully held from September 12 to September 16, 2024. As a part of it, the education service exhibition is led by Beijing Municipal Commission of Education and organized by Beijing International Education Exchange Center and Beijing Science and Technology Education Promotion Association. The theme of this year‘s education service exhibition is "Opening up, Cooperation, Innovation, Development — Create new momentum of education development". People Achievement Consulting, (PAC) participated in this exhibition, showcasing the expertise and commitment of PAC and NCDA in the field of career development.
NCDA's Taiwan / China Training Program Representative: Ivy Liao
People Achievement Consulting, (PAC) has an agreement with NCDA’s to provide the Facilitating Career Development Training Program in Taiwan and Greater China. Since 2011, Ivy Liao, CEO and Chief Representative for NCDA, has developed a network of local practitioners through the help of NCDA Master trainers and China professors and has translated and localized the curriculum for use in these countries. PAC has expanded its training offering in 4 first-tier cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and Chongqing) and 6 provinces (Hebei, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian, Guangdong and Hainan) and there are also local franchisees to service clients. CDP Training in Mainland China in Shenzhen
On December 18, 2015, the launching ceremony of Career Development Professional (“CDP”) training in Mainland China was held in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, which marked the NCDA's officially landing the market of Mainland China.
Under the coach and support by People Achievement Consulting (PAC) who was exclusive China partner of NCDA, this activity was held by Shenzhen Qianhai Career Education Technology Co., Ltd. (“Qianhai Career”). The representative of PAC, Qianhai Career, the NCDA authorized tutor, and all the candidates of first class of CDP in mainland China attended the Ceremony.
From December 18 to 20, Qianhai Career held a three-day CDP training (totaling 18 course hours), the teachers of which were the CDM Wu Ronglin from Taiwan and Li Chao from Qianhai Career.
